Context

Glasswall protects organisations from threats hidden in files. Its APIs process files synchronously and asynchronously for customers’ systems.

The challenge

The team needed confidence that both API styles behaved correctly across many scenarios, and held up under load.

What we did

  1. 01

    Automated scenarios

Designed a data-driven test suite in C# and NUnit with RestSharp, covering many scenarios and assertions across both APIs.

  2. 02

    Performance baselines

Ran performance tests with JMeter on the synchronous and asynchronous APIs, to set baselines for future releases.

  3. 03

    Two-phase delivery

Delivered the work in two phases, with quality reports the team could use as release gates.

Results

  • Repeatable quality checks across both APIs.
  • Performance baselines for future releases.
  • A satisfied client, in their own words.
Client feedback
“Anuj was part of test team and he automated in 2 phases lots of API calls with different scenarios and assertions. We were happy with his deliverables.”
